You can be right man, maybe I made a mistake scoring as I watched live. I'll grab the fight on high quality download sometime soon and watch again since I'm not getting any replays.

Paddy was talkin' to Sean, just after he came back from the moon.

"Did you go into any of the bars up there, Sean ?" asked Paddy.

"Aye, Ah did, but they weren't very good."

    "Why not ?" asked Paddy.

" Sure there was no atmosphere" moaned Sean.

I understand that the op likes aggression.

I do too, but EFFECTIVE aggression. HOW does missing for 12 rounds straight count as effective?

Jim Watt had Valouev winning before the decision was announced. Watt said that Haye could not win the fight by just running and not throwing punches, but Haye's judges did what they did.

Holyfield did much better than Haye.
    Ruiz did much better.
Chagaev beat Valouev and won the WBA title. Vlad beat Chagaev for the real WBA title. Valouev was not really champion, he did not win the fight in the ring, only by WBA robbery.

Please watch the fight again on tape and try to be unbiased. Valuev did not miss for 12 rounds he also hit Haye. ;)

Yes, Haye had lumps on his face for a reason. Haye did nothing but run, he landed a good shot in the 12th round, but that was it. Whatever, Vlad beat the real WBA champion anyway. Vitali wants to knock Haye out but Haye refused to fight him.

Valuev did win the fight, agreed.

    So did Holyfield.

Not sad to see Valuev gone, though.

I just hope Haye fights and does not just sit on the title.

I bet my house at the sea that he won´t fight no Klitschko in his next fights. Haye will fight Ruiz, then perhaps Ruiz again, then Valuev again but no Klitschko.

Valuev lost huge ! You can make an argument that he lost every single round, as he was just hitting air, not a single clean punch that landed. The worst kind off ineffective aggression i´ve ever seen. Haye wasn´t very busy, but he did enough to win almost every round, not a spectacular fight from the Brit, but very smart.

Youre wrong mate ! ... Haye boxed a tactical fight to beat the big guy .. he couldnt beat him ono other way ..it was a lovely defensive masterclass from Haye . Did valuev land one punch on Haye ? No ... Does Haye know he has a dodgy chin ? Yes ... Did Haye fight the perfect fight to accomodate the above two questions ? Yes ....

And considering Hayes hands were wrecked I think this performance was outstanding - going abroad into germany - outboxed the champion with tactical nowhow ! ....

You odviously do not understand the game mate ! ...maybe stick to your american football and Baseball WORLD championships ...

Boxing is an artform of both attack and defensive masterclasses .. haye produced a defensive masterclas against a guy 7st and one foot taller ..slip n move ! ... Was haye under pressure from his attacks ? No Valuev couldnt land a telling blow ... Haye landed the majority of the quality punches through out the fight ....

You should probably stop watching Rocky films mate and study the boxing artform ....

    Valuev won?
    Ummm, no he didn't.

Watch the fight again, and pay special attention to the part at the end where Haye has his hand raised and is given the belt.

    :good
