If this guy gets to be #1 contender again will he fight either Klitschko brother? I would guess they might be the first to stop him in 9 or 10 rounds. Be interesting to see since he has a size advantage over them but they have athletisism over him.

2012 won't be the end of the world. It will be the beginning of a new great heavyweight era. I don't know why the hell I just typed that, lol.

I doubt his heart is in it. I think he'll quit.

Were he to continue, it'd end up in the WBA circle jerk. And wasn't there a rematch clause with the Haye fight? No champ does voluntaries without one.

Valuev hasn't shown any will to win since his good performance against Liakovich. I would say I have never seen a fighter so utterly disinterested in four title fight as Valuev against Ruiz, Chagaev, Holyfield and Haye. I doubt he will be a top contender again and he has very little market value with his recent performances.

yeah, Valuev is a bum based off of these last four performances. utterly disinterested perfectly describes his ring demeanor. I dont know what his deal is, I hadn't seen him throw a punch with bad intentions in over a year prior to the Haye fight where he threw a deadly right hand in either the 11th or 12th, which Haye easily slipped and then proceeded to maneuver himself back into the center of the ring.

Valuev literally causes me to yawn. he may be a nice guy, who was dealt a bad card with his clear giant syndrome, but he often resembles a complete disgrace in the ring

I belive that Valuev will get a shot for the wba championship when david haye goes a unification bout against either Klitschko brothers. Becuse wba has two champions, one is regular champion and the other is super champion. Belive me Valuev will meet Ruiz for the vacant wba regular championship.

I do not think that he will have to be number 1 to fight the Klitschkos. They probably wanna fight him. Nobody is left in the division he is a big former champ and a fight with the brothers generates interest. Also the opportunity to KO this guy is a big deal. The fight would be so marketable in Germany. Maybe one Brother fights Valuev and the other fights Haye. However Wlad has two mandatories and Vitali has an eliminator coming up. And Valuev who seemd to age is not going to be around too long same with Vitali. Valuev has not turned i n a great performance in a while and his killer instinct he had in his rise to the belt is gone.
