Seems good so far, but I'd argue that he's been in there with almost no real power hitters. McCline would probably be the only one but a freak injury ended it in just 3 rounds. And McCline had a good round before it was stopped too.
Put it this way, I think Haye/Vitali/Kevin Johnson would have the best chance of stopping him. Wlad would be too cautious and win a UD. Obviously Johnson was a joke!!! I think the real question is does Valuev have any power????
Pretty good he hasn't been stopped. Has he been down before? I thought that I heard someone knocked him down once.

none of his best punches had any effects against the smaller Zeljko Mavrovic. He landed everything but the kitchen sink on this guy's chin... Note: Zeljko has one of the best chin in boxing history though. Still , i don't think a prime Lennox nor one of the klits would do much of a difference
He for sure didnt get a gift decision aganst Chagaev, scar! You are far too harsh on him! He can box a little bit as could be seen in his second encounter with Ruiz which I watched live. He is a big fellow with a good chin,a decent jab, excellent stamina, and a powerful promoter. Like many posters here on esb I tend to think that either Klitschko brother would beat him black and blue, and so would some other fighters like Gomez or Povetkin in my opinion.I also think that a big puncher like Virchis -who needs a stationary target-has a good chance to score a ko victory against him.
It's decent or average,I really think if you catch him flush a few times he will crumblke. Evander seemed to move him with the few punches he landed and Ruiz IMO clearly knocked him down on the ropes in the second round of the second fight.
Ruiz knocked him down in their second encounter:admin??? I must have missed it! I watched their encounter live and didnt see a knockdown, thunder!
It wasn's called by the ref obviously but Ruiz landed on him and Valuev fell on the ropes.I think it was a clear KD.
That amazingly huge bomb landed on Valuev would put most human fighters in a coma. It had a very short effect on him for about 2 seconds and than he immediately recovered. All those posts here that say he has a solid or decent chin is bull****. This video proves the guy is near impossible to knock out. He has the best chin I have ever seen in my whole life. And YES, I think he is boring as f*ck. So don't come and say I am a nuthugger.
Good idea, Lennox Lewis would be landing the uppercut a lot, but still would he be able to put down Valuev?
