Valuve vs Holyfield is on!!!!

Holyfield has the name and that is why Valuev is fighting him. Valuev laughed at the thought of fighting him early this month and now he is fighting him. I too don't won't Holyfield to continue, but I hope he does beat this guy and retires as a champ.

 

Its a fight that i don't want to see, but as long as there is a title on the line Holy will be available.. I feel a little bad for Ruslin missing out on an even like this, to have Evander on your resume is a big deal..

 

This is WHAT IS WRONG WITH NOT JUST THE HW DIVISION, BUT BOXING AS A SPORT. Look at all the up and coming legit talent in this great sport, and who gets a shot? A 46 yr old Holyfield. When is this going to stop. C'mon, how does Mike Mollo, Jamell McLine, Holyfield, etc. etc. keep getting shots when we have so many waiting for their chance at glory. And shame on all the posters, writers, bloggers for criticizing the youngsters for fighting no name opponents. Valuev should be ashamed of this fight. Yes it is a name opponent, but its like beating up on your GREAT GRANDFATHER FOR CHRIST SAKE

 

The only thing that should die is your ESB account after making a statement like that. The nerve of you to say something like that. Look around the board. Even Holyfield's biggest fans (myself included) are upset that he's still fighting but to say something like that is just beyond distasteful.

I guess what some do not get is that it is Holys life,not theirs. He has fought against the odds his whole life and loves to fight.He even more so loves to prove people wrong .This is who Holy is and will always be.He is the ultimate warrior in his heart.He loves the gym ,and loves the comradery and proving himself every day . Pit bull dogs are like that .They mark their territory and wait for some other dog to mess up.A 12 year old Pit Bull will jump on a three year old in a second .They love the fight,and knowing Holy ,I know this is who he is and he could care less what anyone else thinks .This attitude makes him who he is and drives him everyday to be better than the day before.God bless him.......kenny weldon

Part of me wants Evander to win.

He would fight Wlad and not even think twice. Valuev will avoid him.

 

Watch Holyfield prove everyone wrong and pull off the upset.

 

Holyfied does great with larger slower opponents. He might even win this.
