Argentina really need this fighter, the country is very dry in world class oposition. Adn this Narvaez guy only fights bums.

He gets hit too much but he has some power

 

he's a hell of a fighter. i give him all the credit, that was an awesome fight. he was just too much for ortiz.

i said always said this guy was a good fighter, and that his power would make this a fight. i should have went with my gut and picked him in the prediction league.

gutsy fighter built in the mold of a tough argentinian fighter.

I was very impressed with Maidana's patience in this fight. Sure, he's crude, and gets hit cleanly because of how wide open he leaves himself at times, but, he was really patient and countered well when he needed to. People seem to be putting too much emphasis on what Ortiz did wrong rather than what Maidana did right. I think Ortiz actually quitting says a lot in regard to how well Maidana was doing. Maidan's mental tools in this fight trumped whatever physical tools Ortiz had over him.

Bravo, Maidana, bravo...

Shaky chin, a lot of heart, and can punch like hell! Always a great recipe for an action packed fighter. :nod

I don't think Ortiz does.

 

Hes going to have do it if he wants to continue fighting. He needs to redeem himself. Not right away though, maybe in two years
