Idiot he ask for the fight long time ago and the other day when he KO Hearns, ask Molina or his manager why they haven't accept the fight...

No you are wrong, Canelo is the highest revenue for him and he is being sitting at #1 for a long time now, he deserve to fight the "champion" without any "semifinal", this is a WBC move to protect the ginger boy, nothing less nothing more, if not they should announce that Lara will fight Canelo next, since Kirkland is out with an injury...

 

I'm sorry but Vanes does not belong in the same sentence as Lara and Kirkland both of whom have actually gotten in the ring with top 10 junior middleweights. For as little as Alvarez did to get his belt, Vanes has done even less to be the number one contender, never mind an actual mandatory. Hell Rhodes, the one mandatory Alvarez has fought was probably more accomplished than Vanes, whose only accomplishment of note was getting a robbery win over shot Ouma.

 

At this point it doesn't matter who has beat who, he is being following WBC rules and paying them a fee, he should have his title shot...

 

I was just figuring the Canelo fight was off the table. You are right in the literal sense.

Odd that the WBC would rather have Canelo fight Lara, who in my estimation is a much tougher fight, considering he doesn't seem to be a large draw. If the money is about the same, take the easier fighter seems the MO of Canelo's career.

The thing is that they should forget about Canelo,all of them.
Canelo is just like a freak show, he's not gonna fight contenders just fighters appointed by GBP ,he's gonna go now ppv and will start generating tons of money no matter who he fights, so why risking him? .The sad story is that this kid can win or lose with the best on his division.But that's what boxing is about nowadays , a freak show.

 

Arum is behind it but at some point you gotta blame Team Vanes aswell...that like 3 biggish fights he squirmed away from and for what?

He has plateaued IMO..he is solid contender material and won't be getting better than that..Either they are holding out for the cash money fight against Chava Jnr, which of course means more dough for Bobby or waiting for the strong titlists to vacate or move up.

Make Lara-Angulo, Lara-Molina 2, Kirkland-Molina 2, or Angulo-Molina instead then!

 

Honestly he was supposed to get a shot at the winner of Angulo Kirkland WBC has been promising him Canelo over twitter if he faces the winner of Kirkland Angulo
