Vanes Martirosyan Ethered Canelo In Boxing Tweet of the Year...!!!

Even now after all the stunts they've pulled. If a CLEAN Canelo could really beat Gennady with no corruption from Bob Bennett the NSAC & Vegas boxing officials in a FAIR fight. I would be the first to congratulate him & call him CHAMP!! BUT I think he has proved that he cannot. Even with all the corruption last time the most they could give Canelo was a draw ROFL
Remember I made the same deal about Floyd/Pac & Ward /Kovalev sadly Neither Floyd nor Andre had the cojones to do it

 

Canelo is clearly and obviously levels above Vanes. I think that fight would be a waste of time. Unless Canelo is looking for a Highlight KO reel for those fans who only like KOs, then perhaps I can see it being made as a stay busy fight in the event Canelo can't get any of the other MWs in the ring, outside of that I have not much interest. People don't even know who Vanes is and he's a 4 time loser.

 

So Vanes is a four time loser ? Take away the corruption & both Canelo & Floyd would really be 4 time losers too

 

Canelo is capable of putting one hell of a beating on this man. I don't see any real point in him fighting Vanes either, but Vanes with this tweet is apparently asking for that work. I just get the sense that Vanes is barking up the wrong tree. I guess this kind of desperation is his attempt to get a Canelo payday down the road, but this man could get seriously hurt if he were to step in there with Canelo after putting out thes. Vs GGG it was quick and relatively painless, but with Canelo, it could be a sustained beating over several rounds that could do way more damage to him in terms of an accumulation of punishment than what he suffered at the hands of GGG.

And it could end as a brutal KO. I mean we've seen Beefy Smith get curled into a ball in agony after that body shot. I could see Vanes having a similar fate having never been hit with the kind of thudding body shots Canelo could brutalize him with. Or maybe soften him up with some body shots and set him up for a big uppercut. GGG landed a good uppercut on him, he's definitely wide open for those. If GGG can land that kind of an uppercut on him, imagine what Canelo could do.

Vanes is obviously seeking some publicity with this tweet, but I mean lets be real, Canelo could put a serious hurt on this man if the fight ever happened down the road. Normally I would have no interest in seeing it, and certainly the focus should stay on GGG for now, but those kind of fighting words, I wouldn't be opposed to Canelo teaching this man a lesson in the ring. On the other hand, he don't really deserve the payday and there's certainly better competition out there for Canelo after he gets through GGG than Vanes.

Very good points Shadow. Canelo would definitely give him prolonged beating. As I mentioned before I see him getting a career ending beating like Canelo gave Kirkland.

For me, IF Canelo wins, he should target Derevyechenko/Jacobs winner to unify. If he loses, loser of that fight would be good.
