I'm sure immediately after turning this down he'll go back to whining that none of the beltholders ever give him a chance.
That won't look good if he does back out, he's been talking way too much. In his defense though, he should already have a straight shot at Alvarez. Hope there's more to the story.
If Vanes IS gonna' face AA, it better be now, since he's been out awhile. Yeah, it would look like **** if Vanes has ANY excuse for turning this fight down after all the wolf tickets HE'S been sellin'.
After all the **** he's been talking, calling out just about every junior-welter on the planet? If this is true, it's a total ***** move. This is the best time to face Angulo too, considering how little on-ring tine he's had lately. Where does he go from here exactly?
ANgulo would ko this guy, Vanes almost got stopped in his last fight. Running like a rabbit from the fox.
LOL, it may have something to do with the Top Rank/GBP cold war. I don't believe Arum will make any big fights with GBP, only crap like De Leon Vs. Gamboa.
If you look on FB or the scene ect thats all he does. The Angulo fight would be an eliminator and the winner gets Alvarez. So he would get what he wants.
Why wouldn't he take a fight that could put him at the top of the ranks with a great exposure on HBO, and have a direct Path to a title.... is he not confident enough in his skills, all the barking he has been doing now he can't bite? He probably want's to cash out with Alvarez instead of taking the harder road.
***** move...don't blame him though, angulo would mess him up....we're talking about the same vanes clown that went life and death with a shot to **** kassim ouma
Vanes loves to talk the talk but has yet to walk to walk. Remember after his "I'll take on anyone" talk, Lara called his bluff and he ran away with his tail between his legs. He's had 30 fights now, it's time for this ***** to man up and fight Angulo. If he beats him he has the opportunity of getting a big pay day against Canelo.
