I just wanted to know who would win between Martirosyan and Chavez jr, I think this is an easy match to make because they are both promoted by top rank and they both need to step up their game.
You think Arum would actually put Chavez Jr. in there with an opponent with a pulse? As I'm typing this right now, Arum is excavating more bodies from the local cemetery in an attempt to look for a future opponent for Chavez.
130 amateur fights, undefeated in 23 pro fights vs undefeated in 39 very soft pro fights and a famous last name. you do the math.
Vanes is too much for him, the guy is an ex-olympian with a great skills, he throws too many punches and is too fast for Chaves to have any chance. Vanes's last bout was not too impressive, he dominated the guy but couldn't get the stoppage, where as Kirkland had previsouly stopped the guy in the 8th round. They said he hurt his hand but who knows, regardless though, Toprank is gone step Vanes up soon, they have to, his already had 23 bouts.
Vanes easily...He is a good prospect..Chavez is an ok one, he gets a bit because everyone compares his progress to his dad, but he is an ok fighter. I see titlist material in Vanes.
Vanes by domination. Matirosyan is one of the best US prospects nobody talks about, and long-term I still like him better than Angulo and Kirkland.
I'm not quite sure about his long term prospects being better than Angulo and Kirkland but as for his status as a prospect? Vanes is certainly underhyped and underrated. The guy is a sleeper champion in the making.
Vanes have better skills than Chavez and chavez hve more power. Vanes wins this fight by a close UD. But one thing is for sure and maybe all of you need to agree with me Both fighters need to stop fighting bums and step up. Vanes need to step more because he had fought weaker competition and he is older and more experience.
