Vanes Martirosyan vs James Kirkland? Who do you got? If Ann Wolfe is training Kirkland he should have a good shot. Both of them don't have fights lined up. Kirkland blew his chance at a big money fight with Cotto. This is a fight that should be made, its beneficial for both of them.
I don't feel safe picking Kirkland against any 154 pounder at this point. Vanes iz a respectable fighter , he ain't no bum . Charlo and BooBoo will both tell you that. I believe he has enough to defeat Kirkland.
I see Marirosyan as kind of a sleeper and Kirkland as a classic underachiever. He coulda' been somebody. Had the talent, the athleticism and in Wolfe even the guidance, but he blew it. He'd take Vanes lightly and get surprised.
If vanes can withstand the early storm I'd favor him to win by stoppage. Either way someone's getting knocked out.
Vanes is getting major love now a days,vanes is like a Winky wright in the offense approach ,Aggressive but a not majestically aggressive and not memorably aggressive, I'd imagine wright fans would love vanes but hey,only hardcore's love him
