Vanes looks like a special talent, but doesn't always live up to it. He appeared to have had putty in his hands with Kassim Ouma, but allowed the shopworn Ugandan into the fight for far too many spells. In fact, a different panel of judges could have easily had it much closer than it was scored - or even awarded him an embarrassing loss. I don't know too much about Greene, but it goes without saying that Vanes will need to be "on" consistently to deal with the young prospect, whose left hand certainly does appear to be pretty mean.
