    Where is the excitement not even from the Cubans, your boy finally has a chance to show what he's made after in his 3 biggest fights he's left much to be desired as is stamina power and workrate... Will we finally see Lara at his best? or will his power and stamina again disappoint.

    Vanes claim to fame is the same as Lara's having a great amateur career, and representing USA in the Olympics along with Dirrell and Ward, Dropping Austin Trout and beating him thrice, and beating Berto and Bradley.

    His straight right hand will be his most deadly weapon against Lara, and the left hook. I see that right hand catching Lara many times on the button and to the body... and is the shot lara should try the most to negate.

    This is such a good 50/50 fight I'm thinking of driving over there to Vegas cause ticket prices are so good but then I rater just go to LA Staples Center and watch Mares which are cheap tickets as well.

    Lara says today in an interview that he hopes Vanes has the balls to come for his ribs( since Vanes is predicting he will wear Laras down with his bodywork).
    It will be a good fight, i think Lara wins but i can see people calling me biased.Let see how open Vanes is for that straight left and how how Lara copes with Vanes pressure.
    Ronnie Shields used to train Vanes so theres and advantage for Lara.I dont think Vanes is a better pressure fighter as PW, and we know how Lara handled that.
    Its gonna be a good fight, the winner may be aiming better fights and better pays.

    I used to think Lara win but that was because of the Ouma fight in which Vanes should have lost. However Lara can be roughed up to the body and the straight right does tend to land on him. Vanes has a very good straight right which I see landing more than likely showing us a fragile classic Cuban jaw behind it. I see Vanes stopping Lara. I really dislike Vanes is he is too cocky for his limited skills but the dude is big and quick with power so Lara will taste the canvas.

    I'm guessing on Lara outpointing Vanes comfortably enough but not that comfortable that people on here won't make threads about him being a hype job and a bum immediately afterwards

    Picking Lara, but it could very well be close.

    Would not be surprised if it's an ugly fight that could go either way.
