He did not DUCK Angulo. How do you use the word "DUCK" after the guy signs up to fight LARA, who is the most avoided and feared fighter at 154? That logically doesn't make sense. How do you not consider the possibility of other factors being involved? Here are some facts...

    1) Fight was to be on a Golden Boy Card
    2) Fight was to be in Mexico,
    3) Money offered was same amount as Vanes earned against Joe Green 2 fights before
    4) Vanes was in the middle of buying out his contract and taking the fight would require him to extend it for another year.

You invest your entire life and career in this sport, wouldnt have been smart to risk it against a corrupt card with corrupt judges. Straight out stupid even if you think you have a 99% chance of winning.

Did you know Angulo was up 5 to 1 rounds on ALL THREE judges when the fight was stopped?? Idk about you, but I saw him barely stay on his feet for five rounds. So stop with this ducking bull ****, its ridiculous and ignorant considering he signed to fight lara. That should get rid of any doubts you may have, everyone still talks about that **** without any knowledge

I see Vanes knocking out Lara, its very possible. And a decision win for Vanes wouldn't surprise me one bit!

Vanes' speed and power is significantly better than anyone Lara has ever faced, think about it. How would you compare the speed, boxing skills, power, footwork of Vanes against Paul Williams, Hernandez and Molina? Lara will not see Vanes' punches even coming.

Lara's chin has never been tested either, but it sure will on November 10th. Vanes has the perfect game plan and he is hungrier than ever. His conditioning is twice as good as it ever has been, he is going to have knockout power in the 12th round, if it even goes that far.

Lastly, Lara's has a beautiful left hand but what makes it good is his timing, not his power, which is really overrated. Lara wasn't even able to buckle or hurt Williams, Molina or Hernandez, let alone knock them down? Those guys kept coming right at him all night, knowing Lara's power couldn't hurt them. I'm surprised how many people think he could knockout Vanes when he couldn't knock DOWN any of those guys above. Bottom line, those that believe in Vanes will be making some good money thanks to the odds.

That's a good point. This is a good fight to bet on the underdog.

Vanes had some good exposure out of the gate but had tapered off considering he's never really picked up the level of competition he was suppose to fight... he's a good boxer/puncher overall, and potentially A- caliber. To tell you the truth, i hadnt seen him fight for awhile...

Whatever the case, i think Lara is going to win this fight, either a competitive win by points, or possibly by KO since he's been working on committing more power in his punches.
