Interesting beef starting to simmer on Twitter...potential 154lb/160lb showdown?

Vanes goes to war with Hurd, and loses a controversial 115-113, 115-113, 114-114 decision.

Vanes would beat Hurd, Hurd could be outboxed and Vanes does have a good chin, despite being knocked out by GGG. Vanes should fight Jermell if Harrison fights a tuneup in Detroit. Harrison should not give Charlo a rematch just like he didnt give Vanes one.

Vanes vs Jermell Charlo should happen, now Charlo doesn't have an excuse with no title. Vanes will sign the contract, 50/50 fight.

This would be the perfect tune up fight for Hurd @ 160

@154 Vanessa should never be in the reckoning for a shot

Vanes must be hard up for cash because Hurd will give him a hell of a beating. Obviously unless he quits like he did against GGG

Vanes is a volume puncher, his agressiveness will put him in the danger zone, and he doesn't have the rounds to handle that pressure.

FFS how many rounds has he fought lately? Seriously you would have to be an idiot to give him a shot?

I like Vanes and he’s always been good, but Hurd is relentless. One of my favourite fighters to watch right now and cream of the crop at 154 with Lara and Harrison on his resume.

There’s not much left for Hurd at 154 though, he’s beat the top of the division now Harrison has cleaned up Charlo, he should be looking towards 160 now.

See Hurd vs Harrison. Except sooner, since Vanes is easier to hit.

Vanes might be the best 154lb, not to have a title, i had him beating Lara very close in the rematch.
