    Vanes must be about the happiest bloke I have ever seen get Ktfo in 2 rounds!!!

    You would think he would be upset or at least a little disappointed?

    Tbh he is acting like a bloke that won!!!

    Well, he took about 15 shots to the dome, done in 2 rounds
    No cuts
    No broken bones
    Easy pay day

    Vanes generally seems like a proud and actually quite stoic angry guy.

    What has happened in his 2 years out of the game?

    The bloke must have lost some desire, ffs how can he be proud of this pathetic effort?

    It seems to me that he just turned up to lay down!!!

    What the **** was pathetic about it? He gave it his all in the first round, and was trying to bring it in the second got caught with a brutal straight right and was KO'd. That's boxing for you. You want to see a pathetic effort, look at what your boy Livingstone did against Groves.

    I have seen the bloke get hit with much better shots and keep coming.

    I know he had it in him to do better than that!!

    Same with Jr, it is only pathetic considering what they are capable of!!!

    If it was Dom Wade I would say he tried his best. This just seems to be a cash grab, didn't even try.

    I don't think Vanes did anything special in the 1st round, he was not even throwing hard shots just shoe shining. He still won the round but only because of activity, GGG was just warming up and didn't put much pressure on at all.

    People call Hatton's effort against Manny pathetic when it was a guy going to war whilst outgunned. No shame in that.

    I swear half these posters would crucify Hearns if he were about now.

    Do you think Hatton was as happy as Vanes was in his effort?

    He actually retired he was so low after the fight!
    Hatton actually came to win, not look for the softest part of the ring to lay down!!!

    Hurd is at a stylistic disadvantage against GGG, its a bad match up for him.
    GGG is huge at the weight and punches very hard

    I give Jarrett a very good chance against BJS, but also think BJS outclasses GGG

    Vanes didn't try his best, for whatever reason I don't know.
    That was the worst Vanes I have ever seen and if that's all he is capable of from now on he needs to retire.

    He claims it was ring rust, maybe it was to some degree.

    That was the worst Vanes has ever looked because GGG made him look that way. Hurd loses to GGG by KO (at least you can acknowledge that) and to Saunders by schooling maybe late TKO, you've tied your wagon to another waterlogged turd, I'm sorry James, just face it, you have **** taste in fighters.:lol:
