115-112 Lara, no doubt Trout should have gotten a draw, but no way did he beat Charlo. But no way did Charlo beat Trout either, so a rematch should be next. And Jermell was getting schooled until he got the right hand in and forced the stoppage.
I seriously doubt those compubox numbers are genuine. I have a difficult time imagining Lara landed that many punches. Most of the time, Lara was pot shotting. Vanes appeared to have more will in the fight and because of that he deserved the close rounds. Even if the compubox numbers are genuine, most Lara punches were glancing or weak, compared to Vanes who had more power behind his punches. You can judge a fight by it's punch stats, but at the end it's the actual fight that matters.
The first Martirosyan-Lara fight was different from this one. I would agree with you for their first fight. Lara was really starting to land some beautiful shots on Vanes at the end. I had Lara winning the first fight as well. The second one not so much. Lara only really did well on the 8th round. That was his best round, I would say. The other rounds Lara won by doing marginally better than Vanes.
:thumbsup That's what I saw too. Vanes was throwing harder punches, landing wicked body shots, and chasing Lara all around the ring. :hey The referee is a stooge clearly favoring Lara, and the punch that Vanes was penalized for, was LEGAL, as shown on the replay. Boxing has always been borderline DIRTY, but lately it's gotten much worse.
Lara didn't really run till the end, and lost majority of the rounds he ran in. He stood in the pocket most of the fight.
Always folks trying to take away credit for wins right after they happen. Lara did what he had to do, 115-112 for Lara on my scorecard, winning with boxing, this is called boxing after all, not saturday night street brawls. Lara called out ggg, Canelo and Jacobs. A great fighter can handle all styles, can they handle Lara's or will they avoid this with the excuse fans don't want to see it. See things from Lara's perspective for once, there's good reasons for him to try to get these fights. [YT]nwaIlLmqHQ0[/YT]
I know it's a fact lara beat trout easily, un trained and totally un invoked trout. But out of lara, teou, the charl bros and especially vanes, lara is by far thr current weakest title holder at 154. Coccmaster and his pimples are by by far, either the most ignorant or most pathetic trolls that inrest out forum and are even worse on youtube, worse on YouTube because that ****ing ciown uses a different pic for his profile. Now all his trolling makes sense, he's a complete dweb. That's how i ran inti boxing clown. No half niwit could write like them no matter how hard one tries. Thats years ago where i called out boxing clown, where he to admit it was him trilling from Internet cafes...i forget his name but its easily found. They post comments against the pathetic 3rd grade articles posted in here.
Lara controlled the fight but Vanes had his moments. He clearly had Lara hurt on at least 2 occasions and didn't follow up. Lara stood in front of him for a majority of the fight. Vanes left hook to the body really bothered Lara at times and late in the fight he had Lara moving more but his aggression was ineffective. He only landed a jab here and there and when Lara was on the ropes. Clear win for Lara. Lara could hit Vanes anytime he wanted, but he never hurt him...and he outboxed him.
Honestly I thought it was a shutout. Lara was in control of the whole fight and outlanded vanes in every round.
