Also, in Vanes' case, he knew where the benchmark was - he needed to do CLEARLY BETTER THAN LAST TIME if he wanted to get the nod over Lara, since last time it was a draw. Unless he put in some amazing performance in the rematch and landed a much higher clip and/or hurt Lara a bunch of times, I'm not sure how the guy could be the least bit shocked to have it not go his way again. Like, dude, you were lucky enough to be gifted a a do-over and chance to completely vault your career into the big-time once and for all, but you choose to not examine the mistakes you made last time and try avoiding those pitfalls again by coming in with a different game plan (just from the sound of what I've read)? :huh
I can't remember Canelo hitting Lara for the first 6 rds, and in the second half of the fight most of his EFFECTIVE body punching was to Lara's hip or his elbows. :think
I'm only disappointed by the fact Lara could of knocked Vanes out has he stayed in the pocket a bit more, Vanes is there to be hit
