Vanes has now said he wants the Hurd fight if Charlo doesnt want it. I think this is a good fight because Charlo is fighting Harrison. Hurd wants 1 more fight until Charlo, so it makes sense to fight Vanes. Hurd needs a better test before Charlo. How about Vanes vs Hurd in February?
I believe Jermell is going to lose soon, Harrison is no slouch, Hurd will over power him, Vanes i believe beat him. Jermell should stay at 154lb, he doesnt have the power to compete at 160lb like his brother.

Vanes hasn't won a fight since 2015. He's unranked and completely undeserving of a shot against a unified champion. I doubt the governing bodies would even sanction this fight.
