Size and strength advantage? He has an inch of height on Johnson, and he's been coming in at a very sloppy 250's. Kevin came in last night at a pretty fit and toned 246 (by HW standards). He gives up five inches of reach. He was hurt by Walker, who does not throw crisper, shorter, straighter punches than Johnson - nor is he much bigger, or stronger.

Johnson isn't going anywhere - he'll stay right in the center of the ring where he likes to go to work. Arreola won't be physically intimidating enough to back him up, nor will he present angles that will flummox Kevin's solid D. KJ will be content to stand in the trenches and slip or take shots to give back better, as he is a relaxed fighter and has shown a decent chin. Unless that fails him in a major way and is exposed to be a lot worse than I think it is, he can weather whatever Cris throws at him and punish him in big ways. I actually predict a stoppage in the same range but going the other way. :yep

You are overrating Johnson. Vargas had inital success pressuring him, and so will Arreola, but being much more physical and being a MUCH harder puncher, he will take Kevin Johnson out of his game. Vargas isnt a puncher but he got Johnsons attention a few times, Arreola will be hurting him when he breaks his guard. And keeping it in the center of ring will be fine for Cris. Despite his girth he can still throw a solid jab and get inside. Cris's defense isnt bad either, he does know how to box and he can counte himself.

Cristo's problem is his ****ing weight that makes him flatfooted and slows him down, he doesnt have lateral movement and his punches arent as crisp, and obviously he is no ring general lacks footwork, he just comes at you and follows you around. He does throw wide, but as I have said, watch his fights, he is unusually accurate. Its surprising, but he isnt really sloppy as you might think. He has a very high connect percentage and will land punches at curved angles. He comes in over the top of guys gloves a lot.

:good Arreola would beat Johnson. Arreola can beat a lot of top HW's, but he must be in shape to do it to the very best most likely.

imagine ali quitting on his stool with a burst ear drum in the thrilla in manila, vargas was done as soon as he started letting everyone knew his ear was hurt by pointing to it around round 3 or 4, he should have played poker face, any time you show weakness you are going to give your opponent so much confidence
