Also I'd like to point out the fact that I've met tito and the dudes got gorilla mitts as hands, feels like your grabbing a sack of green plantains when you shake his hand. Tito's only problem was he was notoriously limited and one dimensional...but damn what a dimension.

 

I had the luck of been at the fight live and I just remember been one of the greatest nights in boxing. The left hook in the first round was felt all the way up to our section lol....

Dude I remember having a convo about this with a former trainer of mine growing up he was like man people just mad that a guy that only knows how to go straight would beat your ass...he also mentioned because of the material guaze is made from it actually abosorbed more energy than it distributes thus lessening the impact on a fighters hand giving the fighter more confidence to throw with full force without fear of injury to the wrist. A little sparring knowledge. I can't ever recall tito having hand issues do you?

 

Ditto! The reason he never had hand issues was because Papa Trinidad always took all the precautions to safe them from getting injured.

No problem...I'll be wearing a cup just like Vargas was and you can pad your wraps with as much gauze as your heart desires. Like I said I've been caught in nuts before it hurts but a bodyshot to my upper ribs hurts 10x more.

 

He had very good stamina in the Quartey fight, if I recall correctly he threw a total of over 200 punches combined in the 10th and 11th rounds (may have been the 9th and 10th but definitely around that point.)

come on man.....a shot to the nuts with tito's power 3 times is a lot worse than a shot to the ribs....boxers actually train to take shots in the ribs and body, nobody trains to take shots in the nuts cause it's impossible...the pain is over the top and it doesn't just leave you, it stays in your stomache for a long , long time......i'm starting to question if you even have nuts
