I know! Everyone's got this really snooty attitude like they can't even be arsed to sully their dainty little tootsies by stepping anywhere near such a lowly and pedestrian fight :bart:bart:bart:bart. What a bunch of hoighty toighty sissies! I'm poorer than anyone on this site and I have no problem parting with a Ulysses S. Grant for a night of beer-swilling, haymaker-landing fun. :happy

I'm not expecting it to lead the victor into title contention or have any other serious impact in the context of either fighter's career or the sport in general. I'm not worried that buying this fight will encourage promoters to sell shitty ppv's in the future - all in all this is one of the most guaranteed-to-be-bloody cards to be sold this year. And besides, I think this is a one-off deal. No promoter would think they could get away with selling any other pair of guys of the headliners' actual standing - it's the specific dynamic of these two that brings their respective lovers, haters, and innocent (but curious) bystanders out of the woodwork to gawk and marvel in bloodthirsty awe!

If hope you right with the live body thing.

If Jason Litzau is in there with anything more than an actual live body HE'S THE ONE getting knocked out tonght.

The Edel Ruiz kid has 20 stoppage victories, only two of his 17 losses were by knockout (one a late corner stoppage against JuanMa Lopez) and he went the distance with both Israel Vazquez and a 120 lb Joan Guzman. :think

I'm not expecting any late rounds in this fight.

This is the most action-packed card of the year for sure.

In all honesty, I do think this fight will be entertaining while it last, with both fighters with nothing to lose and Vargas retireing after the fight and Mayorga wanting to redemeed himself after tha ODLH debacle...I say that Mayorga will have the upper hand, but if he get too cooky against Vargas he will get KTFO...he better fight hard until the end and the best man lets standing
