I had Povetkin by 8-3 on the round by round scoring. I wasnt expecting the judges to have it the same to be honest, as this was Hughie's first on matchroom and he is the home fighter. Povetkin was outlanding Hughie, with the heavier shots. He was the aggressor in all of the rounds with the exception of the first 2 rounds. It wasnt a difficult fight to score due to Hughie doing so little in the rounds he was losing.

However I can understand if you had been listening to the biased commentary and copying them, you could have been fooled into scoring it closer. The commentary was shocking and the cards from the "experts" were very bias for Hughie.

There's no doubt Campbell was 'in the fight' in all of the rounds. He just didn't win many...

There is simply no upside for Loma. He is so much smaller than Bud. It would be like asking Bud to fight Beterbiev. The only thing I can figure when I hear guys prodding Loma to fight these much bigger guys is deep down they want to see him beaten badly because that's what would happen. You can be the most talented fighter in the world but if you fight guys that are significantly bigger than you are it won't end well. Hell, even if Loma outpointed Bud and was able to stay out of harm's way, he would probably get seriously damaged. That is the one thing Loma has been able to avoid to date. He still speaks very well because he hasn't been hit much.

What seems to be happening in a lot of these fights is the favored fighters are given little credit for what they are doing while the underdogs are given much more credit than they should be getting when landing anything. The bar is so low for these challengers that the favorites have to put on a heroic display just to get credit. Take Loma, for example, he outlanded Campbell by a wide margin. In addition, he seriously hurt Campbell on two occasions. It was simply grit and pride that Campbell was able to finish this fight.

Excuse me. Have you not seen Loma's resume? He has been rolling through "stars." They only become less than stars after Loma gets done with them.

If he isn't damaged goods after this fight with Loma. Look at the number of fighters who are not the same after fighting him. Nicholas Walters hasn't fought again, for example.

I'm absolutely serious, you know damn good and well the haters would not give him credit for beating a 40 year old Pac.

Exactly the way I see it too. I thought both Hughie and Campbell were both comfortably beaten and struggle to see where it was close in either fight.

They had it unanimously and comfortably for Loma and took no issue with the judge's cards.
