some believe arguello had trouble with movers, and loma can move like nobodies business. arguello hit harder than anything loma has ever tasted, can loma avoid that laser right hand for 12?

Loma`s skill would give him the lead but if Arguello can push him backwards he`d stand a good chance and his reach and power would be a real problem.

i could see that. one thing that would factor in is fatigue. in a fight, there are moments that you can take a breather, break concentration and take a breath whenever you feel at safe distance. arguello didnt give you that, you had to be in full concentration mode every second of the fight, cause he had such long reach and he could put your lights out at any moment. that wears on a fighter real quick. i dont worry about lomas physical endurance, hes a complete pro about that, but i have seen loma get complacent before. probably more due to confidence rather than mental fatigue, but both can get you knocked out just the same.

Have to give the nod to Arguello. Too much power for Loma to deal with. Can run but you can't hide. Loma would do well. However, 12 rounds are a long time. his confidence would be his down fall. Down goes Loma...Down goes Loma. Well, minus the "one I mixed" bottle of refreshing water.

I’m a huge Arguello fan but think he’s way too conventional for Loma. Loma would frustrate him with his movement and wear him down. Loma by late stoppage, liver shot. Loma is on a much higher level than the Great Alexis. Arguello has anounchers chance but it’s a slim one. He might win an early round or two but Loma would overwhelm him in the end.

    Funny up there.
Loma is much faster than Aaron Pryor was. He would make Arguello look like he was wearing lead shoes.
    Loma by KO

Loma wins by decisions. He's too good to get beat by Arguello IMO. Arguello was a classic fighter and I still remember his great fights against Pryor even though Arguello lost both fights.

When Loma haters have nothing else they always grasp for the Salido card. Forget the fact that it was his second pro fight. Loma has improved since that fight and it’s no coincidence Salido never agreed to a rematch. It would not have ended well for Salido. Keep grasping at straws. It’s fun to watch.

arguello only fought pryor, who very well could be the best 140 lb fighter ever, because he had beaten everybody who was anybody from 126 to 135. they fought at a weight that was new to arguello. those fights shouldnt even be looked at when looking at this fantasy fight, as they happened outside a weight loma has fought at. do you remember any of that?
