1 Loma 2 Haney 3 Loma 4 Haney 5 Loma 6 Haney 7 Loma 8 Loma 9 Haney 10 Loma 11 Loma 12 Haney 115-113 Lomachenko Not the worst decision ever and i possibly could see a draw for Haney, but for me Lomachenko clearly won in a close fight down the stretch. And i find it hard to fathom how Haney could be awarded a decision especially by 8-4 which is disgraceful.
The decision wasn't that bad of a robbery, it could be argued a draw even. Most think that Lomachenko won(me included) but a draw wouldn't bother me. What bothers me is that 2 judges thought Haney won 7 rounds(HE DIDN'T) and another thought he won 8(WTF). That isn't even what all the hoopla is about. The issue people have is: 1. The negligence. The 5-minute pause before the cards were read only to find out Dave Moretti gave the 10th to Haney. Disgraceful 2. The fact that a controversial decision took place during one of the most important fights of the decade, a unification fight. That's like a Superbowl or NBA final game being decided on a bad call. 3. We are sick and fed up with this ****. So many reputable creators, writers, and critics have called this one the straw that broke the camel's back. Every single night of boxing in the last year tends to have some sort of BS controversy attached to it, and fans have had enough of it.
I agree it's not worst decision ever if you score all close rounds for Haney I can possibly see a draw, but I can't see 7 rounds to Haney let alone 8. And scoring 10th round for Haney is ridiculous.
