That amateur record is why Salido beat him in his 2nd fight. He thought he saw it all but there is no pressure fighting in the ams. and when Salido put that nonstop pressure on the boy he lost his concentration and got his ass kicked in front of his father/trainer and never bothered to revenge that loss.

I voted the last option like most people did. Loma has no chance to beat Floyd.

 

You make some good points but also use the Salido fight as an example and the Linares KD.
Salido was his 2nd pro fight, he's been used to clean style of boxing all his life and that was a baptism by fire in his pro career, if he was to fight prime Salido now, he'd most likely stop him within 6 rounds with the experience he now collected. The Linares KD didn't even hurt Loma, he was too confident and rushing in with his feet in the air and got hit with a good shot, got back up immediately and didn't even seem buzzed by that. I agree Floyd is just too big for Loma however it would not be an easy fight for PBF.
Loma has also got the best defense in boxing statistically if I'm not mistaken and that Linares KD was one of the only good straight shots he has taken in his career. Loma would not fight cocky against PBF as he would know the consequences, I think Floyd would take it on the cards 7-5 or 8-4 but would definitely not KO Loma.

 

I literally don't take anything you say as a structured response. Sorry, but it's like listening to Cathy Newman on "women inequality". You know her opinion, you know she won't listen to other facts or opinions on the matter.

Loma admitted it wasn't a "great" win due to the size disadvantage etc, but quite a lot of people on this forum didn't believe Loma would win, let alone dominate Rigo.

 

I'm not interested in your feelings, I'm simply stating a fact.

The overwhelming majority of people here knew Rigondeaux stood no chance. I would say something like 70% of people here knew Lomachenko was going to win, and out of the 30% who said otherwise possibly more than half of those were trolling the Lomachenko fanatics.

Not so sure about that. If Luke Campbell made Loma work I see no reason to think corrales wouldn't do better

 

I scored that fight a few days ago, and I figured Loma won 10 rounds and got a KO, hardly making him work. And Luke's a very underrated guy, fast hands and feet, southpaw, decent body puncher and a smart boxer. I don't think he'd beat Corrales but I wouldn't write him off.

But that logic doesn't really work anyway, Corrales wasn't exactly invincible, he often made things way too difficult for himself and couldn't take Floyd's, JLC's or Casamayor's power, I'd wager Loma does equal damage to them and applies the pressure much better and much more than Joel or PBF.

I think Loma could avoid his power if he's not being arrogant then out-work him enroute to a UD or late TKO.

 

Pac vs Corrales or Loma?

Either way I say Pac in 4.

 

It's actually why I don't want to see it, I'd rather see Pac fight someone who'll give him a fight and see Loma take on the best at his own weight.
