Ortiz is much better, than I was thinking.

When Shakur beat Herring, people praised him, when Ortiz retire Herring, there was no hype.

Lucky you, Ortiz does look very big & strong, this fight will determine where Loma stands & what the outcome could look like when he is faced against Haney and/or Stevenson.

I was surprised too watching this (@5:35 for Ortiz footage). Should be an entertaining scrap.

This should be a good fight.

    Rising contender vs aging veteran.

love Loma but I think his window has passed.. the game moves on & the young stars get the push & benefit of the doubt.. he should still be beating guys like this though

Good fight to shake off the rust. Hopefully Haney or Shakur next! Loma will fight anyone and I still expect Tank to avoid him like the plague. Unless Loma shows signs of slipping. Who knows, maybe Tanks balls will drop and he will somehow muster the courage to face Loma. Don’t hold your breath.

If Loma beats Ortiz then its Haney next. Anything less is a duck by Haney.

Glad to finally see him back in the ring. Should be an interesting fight and a good indicator to see how much Loma has left. He’s already 34 about to be 35 in a few months and his speed and reflex are slowly fading. He really needs to start getting all the big fights that matters soon before he’s really physically declined.
