People aren't factoring in that this Shane McGuigan trained Campbell is a bigger, stronger, harder hitting and better version of Campbell than we've seen before. He's already avenged his loss to Mendy since hooking up with McGuigan (that was his first fight under McGuigan's tutelage) and let's not forget that he pushed Linares really close despite losing his father to Cancer just 2 weeks before the fight, so close that this improved 2.0 McGuigan trained version of him would've definitely won that fight for sure IMO.

In addition to working on technical aspects of his game, McGuigan has also focused on making Campbell a real physical specimen for the weight and he's going to be a lot bigger than Loma on fight night both in terms of weight, reach and height: At least 10lbs in weight if not more IMO (it could be as much as 12-15lbs) , 5.5'' in reach, and 3'' in height. And when you're as technically skilled and talented as Campbell is (and his amateur accomplishments are very impressive indeed: Olympic gold medalist, World amateur silver medalist, and European gold medalist) that presents problems. And he's hitting hard too. Josh Taylor praised his power and Teofimo knows all about Campbell 1.0's power because Luke dropped him on his ass in sparring once

You can see and hear the power when he's hitting the mitts

Campbell looked really impressive last time out IMO

I'm not saying he's going to beat Loma but his skills and technical ability coupled with the huge physical advantages he holds over Loma and the improvements he's made both physically and technically make him dangerous and the 1.0 version of him proved he was at worst slightly below Linares level.

Cool Hand Luke likes and respects Teofimo but he's of the opinion that it would be a big mistake for Teo to step in there with him (Luke knows what happened in the gym during their sparring sessions). That Japanese fisherman who was robbed against Teo last night is light years behind Cool Hand Luke in terms of technique, accuracy and overall ability.

Luke Campbell insists he can KO pound-for-pound king Vasyl Lomachenko after their fight was officially announced for August 31.

Campbell and Lomachenko will meet for three of the four lightweight world titles in London.

And the Brit is confident he can pull off a seismic upset against his fellow Olympic champion.

“The best fighting the best, this is going to make one hell of a fight,” said Campbell.

“I am in this sport to be the best to become a world champion. This is what I train and work so hard for.

“He is ranked number one pound-for-pound on the planet so for me to fight a guy like that only encourages me more to be the best that I can be and it is exactly the level that I want to be at.

“I’m well aware of how good he is and what he is capable of doing but I’m also well aware of what I can do and what I’m going to do.

“I think that I can knock out anyone that I hit right, I believe that I am one of the biggest punchers in the lightweight division.

“This is going to be the toughest fight of my life and I’m preparing for it, physically and mentally. This is Luke Campbell’s year, it’s my time.”

Lomachenko, who stopped Campbell’s countryman Anthony Crolla earlier this year, fought for a world title in his second professional fight.

He lost controversially to Orlando Salido but bounced back to beat world champion Gary Russell Jr in his next bout.

“This is a fight for history because my goal is to unify all of the belts in the lightweight division,” said Lomachenko.

“Luke Campbell is the next challenge for me on that journey. He is an excellent fighter who I remember well from the 2012 Olympics. He has a difficult style, and I cannot afford to overlook him.

“It is very special for me to fight in London. I visited last year, and the response from the people was overwhelming. They respect my fighting style and are passionate about boxing. I can’t wait to put on a great show for everyone.”

I didn't realise Teo fought again. I'm not surprised in the slightest if that guy has a tough fight with anyone. He's complete rubbish, his time in the sun was simply calling out Loma for publicity.

    Sorry I missed this

Yeah he got taken to Japanese Slick school by a string bean Japanese fisherman that no one even in Japan had ever heard of before

The only reason he's even daring to mention Loma's name is because Loma is tiny for the weight, so tiny that even all the other champs down at 130 weigh more than him on fight night and by as much, almost as much, or if not even more than a whole weight category

Look at how sunken his annoying face looks at the weigh in here

Nobody in the game knows more than OG Bob because he's been in the game longer than the game has been in the game and OG Bob knows what time it is

Isn't this how Teddy Atlas compared Terence Crawford to Jeff Horn? Actually, I think he used Ferrari. But I got you.
Loma is undoubtedly the favorite in this matchup.
