Vasquez vs. Marquez

anyone know if Israel Vasquez is still trained by roach and if not by who now?

 

I can't understand why so many people are picking Vazquez. I thought the first fight showed he couldn't handle Marquez's shots and, as if that weren't enough of a warning sign, he went and quit as well.

I'm not saying he CAN'T win. But why anyone would actually favour him is beyond me.

 

for me i'm going for Israel cuz in the 1st fight, IMO the momentum was going towards Vasquez, even with the broken nose before the stoppage. and while Rafa busted up Israels nose i reallly dint see him put israel in trouble like what happened when Israel cought Rafa. thats why i'm going for Izzy:thumbsup

 

I see this going the destance because i dont think Vasquez is gonna get his nose broken again.hes out for vengence maybe not gonna quit so easly.

 

Should be a great fight, but Marquez doesn't just hurt people when he lands, each shot creates damage. Plus Vazquez's nose probably still isn't 100%. I'm taking Marquez by late stoppage or UD.

And the most annoying fight night question: is there a stream for this one?

Hell no...die hard boxing fans will keep both fighters in memory. They dont get the hype they deserve...Raf is my favorite fighter to watch. B/c he is a little chinny but he comes back hard. He just got that thunder punch that you cant teach.

I went with Vasquez last time but this timeI'm taking Marquez. I don't think Vasquez can deal with Marquezs' jab and overall arsenal. Marquez looked terrific at 122. Vasquez is still a very live underdog and this should be a fantastic fight. Just gotta go with Marquez by stoppage.

 

i hope israel wins so there's a third fight. when two figthers bond style-wise it's fun to watch. if you get such a great first fight it's worth seeing a rematch provided it's not a onesided beatdown like calzaghe/lacy. that fight was impressive as a calzaghe fan but not worth seeing a second time since it was so one sided.

the gatti/ward, castillio/corrales type fights need rematches! :thumbsup
