Vasquez vs. Marquez

man, big up to both fighters, but specially vasquez fighting so courageously after being cut in every inch of his face. what a fight

 

Good stoppage, he won the first so well have a trilogy.

 

Near the beginning of Round 6 Vasquez caught Marquez with a huge left hook that dropped Marquez. Marquez got up immediately and took an eight count, but was obviously still fairly hurt by the shot. Vasquez came in on him hard, and was landing some big shots, but in-between Marquez was coming back with a few of his own. Eventually the fight moved towards the bottom left corner of the ring, Vasquez landed a few more shots and the ref stopped it. However, Marquez had still been throwing punches, attempting to dodge, and wasn't getting hit all that cleanly during the final flurry. imo, pretty early stoppage. Not Manfredo/Calzaghe level but pretty bad.

i bet my vpoints on vasquez...look in the forum .. i said they were gonna wanna pull for a 3rd match..which is why all of the sudden marquez is chinny and being stoped... yup yup..these grubby jew promoters gotta have there bentley payments ment..

Rafael needs to work on that defense, other then that did you see the way he was jabbing and hooking off the jab early. Rafael should of paced himself and boxed more. He tried to fight too much. No way overatted.

 

Good on Vazquez - he cost me money but its good to see an underdog prevail

No third fight. These guys are killing each other worst then gatti ward. They both will be punchy. Especially Vasquez. That right hand in round 4 I think was a monster. They both are each others worst nightmare...NO THIRD FIGHT. **** that, I care about the fighters. **** us fans.. no need. let it be even.

 

I hate his stupid ass too. He is about the dumbest idiot calling out punches that dont land and obviously has favorites. To much of a fan commentator.

 

btw, whats up with that ****ing canvas full of slippery logos. its the most annoying **** ever. i wish the advertisers that that logo belong go bankrupt.

 

I hate to even imagine this but I won't be shocked when somebody blows out a knee on that bull****!

 

yeah, it could've easily ruined the night. i wonder how hard it is to fix that thing between fights, especially that it obviously caused a lot of crap during the under card bout.
