Damn, I was at the fight and I was hoping a dramatic finish from Vasquez similar to the 2nd fight. I was telling my friends that how he gets his powers because he is posses by the holy ghost. Btw, I prefer watching fights on TV. the atmosphere sucked.
I didn't see the fight, but somebody posted a picture of it in the round by round thread. That is a monstrous injury. I hope he doesn't come back. Because I like him. It wouldn't be any better for the sport than his own health for him to fight on.
I am a marquez fan and wanted him to win of course and he did look good, he was faster and accurate. But that was sad to see and a 5th fight wouldnt prove anything, I dont want to see him getting ripped open like that, I hope he retires and that the has money saved up so he can enjoy life.
