I don't have him in my top 10, but he definitely is the deserved champion.

    Talking only about Rio.
Daniyar, Robeisy and La Cruz in the top 3.
4-Dusmatov: Val Barker Winner, dominated his opposition.
5-Zoirov: won gold in the toughest class in a really tough draw.
6-Lopez: Wasn't extraordinary but won his gold quite comfortably.
7-Martinez: the surprise of the games and beat my only rated 49 in Argilagos.
8-Melekuziev: Too raw, but the domination during the tournament was clear, p4p talent.
9-Conenciao: wasn't dominating but he beat really good boxers to earn his gold.
10-Ouma: won all the fights that none expected him to win.

He won the Asian Boxing Championships the other week. They were held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan and he was Kazakhstan's only gold medalist (they won 3 silvers and 4 bronzes). Uzbekistan topped the medal table with 9 gold medals.

Levit wants to win this year's World Amateur Championships which are being held in Hamburg, Germany.

'ASTANA –Kazakh national boxing team member Vasily Levit recently won individual gold at the Asian Boxing Championships in Tashkent, becoming Kazakhstan’s first three-time winner of the event.

“It was not easy. This is the Asian Championship, a high-level competition, and it took a lot of effort to win. Thank God it worked out well. Now my goal is to win the World Championship, which will be held in Germany. I would especially like to thank all the Kazakh fans for their support, for their messages I have been receiving so far. It’s much easier to compete at competitions and win with such support,” said Levit, a silver medallist at the Rio Olympics.'

Kazakh Vasily Levit confidently defeated Australian Jason Warteli and went to the semi-finals of the World Boxing Championship in Hamburg. His next opponent will be the Cuban Erislandi Savon.

Immediately after the end of the fight in hot pursuit, Vasil Levit answered the questions of the correspondent of the Republican Internet portal Sports.kz

    - Vasily, with a victory! Were you satisfied with the way the fight went?
    - Today I worked a little better than yesterday. Normally, we type the form. God grant that from battle to battle progressed.

    - What was the tactical battle pattern?
    - Let's not talk about tactics. We are now boxing, and it's good that we manage to win.

    - Did the opponent create any difficulties for you?
    - Of course, this is not a fight with the shadow. Opponent for this and goes into the ring.

    - Heard how the coaches repeatedly said: "Basil, body-head, body-head!". That is, they started attacks with attacks on the body?
    - The opponent is slightly taller than me, so it was easier to get him blows on the body - and then already translate into the head.

"There was not much time between fights." Have time to recover?
    - We are all brewing in this plate, so everything is on equal terms. Normal, hard for everyone.

    - Compared with the first fight, what did you feel better today?
    - Let's not be on my hot head now - which was better or worse. We need to calmly reconsider the battle - and then we can already draw some conclusions.

    - The next opponent is the well-known Cuban Erislandi Savon ...
    - We'll see (At this moment Savon was still fighting in his quarterfinal duel). With whom God will give, so we will box.

There's no way in a million years that there were 10 fighters better than Levit at that Olympics! Levit look liked a beast, was really impressive throughout. Laughable to suggest Melekuziev and Oumiha were better. I think Levit and Ramirez looked the best fighters.
