    I have no idea — he didn't mention why. I guess maybe they have a really good state-supported system of amateurish boxing in Kazakhstan (like good salaries, housing, etc.)

    disappointing, I lot of Kazakhs have turned pro recently so I thought there was a decent chance he'd follow them, after 2018 Olympics at the latest. Russian Promoters were desperate to sign him.

    I expect Daniyar Yeleussinov to do fine as a pro and hopefully that motivates Levit who is his teammate, the fact that he was able to keep his mind straight after Rio shows the kind of fighter that he is.
