I feel like I know a lot about him but I've only seen his epic fight with Toney, I'm gonna check out more on him soon. My question is how would he do in today's cruiserweight division? How does he do against Steve Cunningham, Yoan Pablo Hernandez, Marco Huck, Dennis Ledebev? Also, as they were at cruiserweight just a few years ago how does he do against David Haye and Tomasz Adamak at cruiserweight?
they all beat him covincingly. when you look at jirovs pro career he has never beaten anything but ordinary fighters.
Jirov was a solid CW, could win or lose against the ones mentioned above. I don't see him winning against Gomez only.
why don't you actually watch his fights, and then name me a fighter who has a more devastating a body attack than Jirov in the past 2 decades. I suggest you watch his fights vs Dale Brown, Arthur Williams, McGroom.

I'm not sure the guys in today's cruiserweight division are much better than ordinary though... Oh I see now this is an old thread needlessly bumped.
Jirov put up a game effort and was definitely fun to watch. He makes a damn good fight with pretty much everybody on your list, I just think he comes up short in most, if not all of them.
Jirov's resume sucks but it's obvious to anyone who ever watched him fight he was a hell of a fighter. Him vs. Huck would be absolute brutality.
