Let's say the Jirov who fought Toney against Roy Jones who fights Jirov instead of Ruiz. I know the fight was in discussion back then but did not happen.
I too would go with Jones. l thought the fight between Toney and Jirov was one if the best fights l ever saw but no way would Jones fight that style of fight with Jirov. And if he did he very well might lose.
Jirov may have a chance of a late stoppage though. At cruiserweight, Jones would not be as mobile. Jirov relentness style, chin and body punches might catch up to Jones late.
Jones couldn't stay in the pocket against Jirov. Not a chance in hell. What he could do is potshot his way to victory.
