    Well, part of it probably has to do with race-baiting on the part of some of the white supremacist vocal minority on here, they see Lomachenko as some kind of savior or mascot for the Caucasian reclamation of the sport or whatever. Some otherwise level-headed & well-meaning posters get rankled by that and so they start bashing him and other EE's, and then you have someone like @CST80 who isn't actually racist but himself rankles at what he perceives as persecution of whites, taking in turn their bait and going at it with those guys and feeding into the animosity further by making them feel like it really is "us against them", and the whole thing just ends up a giant circuitous mess. :shakehead:

    Really everyone needs to STFU with all the (be it explicit or hidden-agenda subterfuge) race shit on my board or I'm going to ban everyone and chat myself up as I do in 99% of my obscure RBR thread anyway. :sisi1

    I get what you are saying but if someone has kept up with boxing for longer than a few minutes, they would know that these things just have a way of happening throughout history. Be it styles make fights, aging fighter or a punch landed that nobody expected.
    It happens and possibly will again, based on clean punches landed, when Loma fights Beltran.

    I don't see this fight going full distance — it will end by a stoppage, most probably.
    Well, Beltran has some chance here due to his boxing style ("swarmer") and size, but if Loma doesn't win this comfortably, he should return to 130 and stay there till the end of his career. :)

    Beltran will just fall out of exhaustion, at least. :) Or Beltran will TKO Loma. But this fight will not last all twelve rounds.

    Well, maybe, but Loma can't just say "Well, Raymundo, amigo, just give me that title, ok?" :D
    Lomachenko also needs to test himself more at this weight class, and Beltran is a perfect guy for doing this.

    Different styles. I remember the fight vaguely but didn't Crawford completely neutralize Beltran? I remember Crawford mostly just boxing with Beltran and only in the later rounds was he opening up more.
    Loma would definitely apply more pressure. And pressure breaks pipes.
    Plus Beltran is quite old now, and has had quite a few though fights since Crawford.

    There's actually quite the fair share of weak glass mandibles @ 135 presently. Happy to see that. Lots of people bouncing up and down the canvas. There's literally no real iron in the top 10.

    Loma will be going up and down as well! Makes for some great fights!
