hadn't seen Ortiz fight, so i went and looked at some video of him right now. doesn't look like he should trouble loma much. i dont like how he handles getting hit. hes also a bit predictable and open to hooks upstairs when he throws combinations to the body. he can be timed. hes also not as fast as loma, so loma can get to him.
he does have a nice left hook that he can throw at different angles and different distances. thats the only punch i would tell loma to watch for, and then let loma be loma. kid looks strong, if hes tough he can finish the fight. i think hes getting beat up either way.

Checking in. Tough fight for Loma tonite but i expect him to come through with a hard fought victory. Ortiz knows his way around the ring, and is fundamentally a sound fighter so it wont be an easy task for Loma.

Ortiz getting mangled tonight. I remember Adorno timed & dropped him with some huge counter hooks. Imagine what Loma will do. If Loma goes 12 rounds with this guy he's finished.
