He said he thought he won at least half of the fight and disagrees with the decision. But said he will go home and watch the fight.

I honestly thought Lopez was about to stop him in the 12th, had Loma tried to step on the gas earlier I think he may have got stopped.

It wasn't that he neutralized Loma, Loma couldn't afford to take too many chances against the much bigger and harder hitting man because the shots coming back at him were extremely hard and dangerous, hard enough to flatten teak-tough giant 135 pounders like Commey who has never been stopped before. To add some perspective, Commey comes in about 154 on fight night, that's like 3 weight classes heavier than what the 138lb Loma comes in at.

119-109 was that Lederman chick btw. She's the kind of gal who wouldn't be hired as a waitress but thanks to her last name she gets jobs like these.

I think that 135 is a good weight for him. He needs to hold court there for now. Some good fights remain.

I agree, but at least he would have had a chance. Risks need to be taken sometimes.

But to be expected when US fighters fighting at home always have home refs and like very very often 3 home judges working their fights. When you actually research how often this is the case, which I have, it's ****ing scandalous

Dude stop with the pity party, he had 3 belts at the weight, he got beat fair and square by the (at least tonight) better fighter.

Since no one else has said it.... aside from @Serge saying Lopez felt his punches. Look at their faces post fight.:sisi1 For a guy that won, Lopez's face looked like it had multiple bee stings along the left side. Loma had a few scrapes.

Loma started way too late. He attempted to study the power, movements, and punching patterns of Lopez. Lopez is far too talented to give away rounds. Bad strategy. When Loma opened up later he put a beating on Lopez. Lopez should run from the rematch. I had Loma winning rounds 2,7,8,9,10,11 = draw.

The only reason I bet on him was due to the odds. They were too skewed for Loma. It should have been a 2-1 fight at worst. No, I didn't score it wrong. Take a chill pill. A lot of hype floating around right now. Lopez is good but he's not nearly as good as Loma. Lopez is younger, bigger, stronger but Loma is the FAR superior boxer. But enjoy it while you can. Mark my words. Lopez won't have near the career Loma has had. Not even close.

Maybe, Lomachenko should have to earn it like every other contender. You know, rebuild. Fight a few contenders and in a few years try again.

^Doesn't matter about the wide scorecards in this instance (although 2 of them were egregious,) the right man won so your xenophobic point is moot.

I can't see Lopez being dominant at 147 because at the top of 147 you have the guys who could be 160 doing what he's doing now at 135 (and one bantamweight who defies all logic in Pac).

This, to me, is the only argument for super cruiserweight or whatever you want to call it. If small HWs have a division, maybe they don't cut down to CWs, so CWs aren't cutting down to LHW, and so on. Not likely but maybe it helps.

    Spot on.
I've been saying this for a while, especially after the Loma v Campbell fight where people were saying he wasn't that impressive. If he had these guys frame he would likely stop all of them.
