There’s a lot of truth in here but I think we can all agree Loma just waited too damn long tonight. Forget the cards. He didn’t start fighting until ROUND 7! You can’t do that against a guy on Lopez’s level. He will pocket every round when you are posing and studying. He’s not Jason Sosa. As I’m watching what’s transpiring I said to myself as Round 4 and 5 passed “is Loma REALLY gonna wait til the 2nd half of the fight to turn it up against THIS guy?” So foolish. I’d like to see the fight again. I doubt we get it. Lopez now has other fish to fry.

Lots of fighters have fought large weight disparities. Duran vs Barkley. On top of the fact that Barkley was far more tested & experienced than Lopez. Duran was the one moving up and at 37 yrs old.

Pacquio is still ridiculous in his 40's fighting at 147. He doesn't belong there. Even Floyd has fought plenty above his natural weight.

Why do you do this after every fight? You have outlandish cards and then lash out at the judges and/or the forum. Have you considered that you get too emotionally invested and that perhaps it causes your cards to be flawed?

If you want to give Rd2 to Loma, eh fine. 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 12 were all clear as day Lopez rounds. Right there is a draw for him at worst. Round 7 and 8 were probably Lopez rounds as well, just closer. 9-10-11 were Loma rounds. If I stretch I can get to 5 rounds for Loma, sure. I most definitely cannot get to SEVEN.

I think the slow start was a combination of ring rust and him having to be very cautious of the power and size of Lopez.

Ward’s cards are notoriously putrid. As putrid as the Julie L card. I felt like this fight was pretty damn easy to score. Lopez won 7 or 8 rounds.

I overslept but it sounds like loma simply didn't get started. He did the same to campbell iirc.

Odd considering amateur boxing you have to figure out your opponent inside a minute and crack on.

Maybe loma is a little arrogant? I have my suspicions thats why the Salido fight went the way it did, the establishment knocking him down a peg.
