Going in, I didn't really have a strong opinion on who I wanted to win, but I came away disappointed in the fight. Lopez completely dominated the first six with lightning quick basic boxing while Lomachenko looked like a frightened spaz afraid to throw a punch with conviction who was trying to win rounds with hand feints. Then when he'd given away way too many rounds, he all of a sudden decides to pressure and actually fight and Lopez looked very, very ordinary and caught shot after shot flush without strong returns. Then they hit the last round and Lopez showed he wanted it more and pushed through to take back the momentum. Strangely enough, I wasn't that impressed with either. (But especially not "PFP/HOF Lomachenko..)

7-5 eitherway or 6-6 are acceptable. Neither man seperated for me.

Lomachenko took too long to get started. He needs to update his antivirus software because his reaction just wasnt there.

Forza and m.s. did; so I put them on ignore. If they are that stupid they'll never say anything I'd want to hear.

    your comprehension skills are diminishing.

I didnt say anything about your score. 7-5 seems fair to me, a little bit biased to lomo, but well, fair. Not too much biased either. A good score, I prefer 116-112, though, and I can understand 117-111. But I have nothing against 7-5. Calm and peace.

Well... check your wording on that response. It was incomprehensibly written. So instead of responding to whatever the hell that mess was, I just reiterated the point I'd already made several times a little more clearly. Calm and peace indeed, by the way, Loma will always be>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Rigo. Deal with it.

Yes I understand, I've complained so many times about your scoring...

but not this time. I must be getting old. I think it's a good score.

Don't worry about CST, he's just mad that for once everyone agrees with him and he doesn't have anyone to fight.

Lopez won cause he showed up to fight. Don’t know what the he’ll Loma was doing for the first 6 rnds. He didn’t do anything. You have to punch to score. I still think he is the better boxer but that don’t mean **** if you don’t throw.

I'm guilty of gifting Loma the 2nd as well. But, he could have realistically could have lost the first 7.

He lost the first seven. And twelfth, even more clearly than the second or seventh.

The first three were close but clear.

The seventh was an improved Lomachenko round, comparatively, but still an improvement in defeat. Round eight was the first I scored for him, and the first you could score for him, and even that one isn't wildly unreasonable to have scored for López (or at least no more unreasonable than giving Lomachenko rounds 2, 7, or 12) - although IMO it was close but clear for Loma. Vasiliy very decisively swept the 9th-11th. Those are his untouchably dominant rounds. López's are 4-6 and 12 (even though Lomachenko did good work in the first half of that last round, only to see it thoroughly wiped away by López's surge). 1, 2, 3, and 7 are not swing rounds just because they were closer. They were close but clear for López.

...and I was Team Hi Tek in this one, and talked loads of trash on Teó both in general and in the lead-up to what I thought was the wrong end of a mismatch here for him. So no bias on my end. I'm way more of a Loma fan, and consider him the greater p4p boxer even now.

But he lost. He lost clearly, fair & square, 8-4 on the nose - or maybe 9-3 if you shove with all your might in López's direction, or maybe 7-5 if you heave-ho for Loma. What you cannot do is push hard enough to get to a 10-2 López card, let alone that garbage 11-1 that Lederman had. What you also cannot do is push hard enough to get a draw, because there are not six rounds to give Lomachenko unless you're redistributing wealth that isn't rightfully his, rewarding him for his efforts (admirable though they may have been) with rounds that ought to be López's c-b-c, just because they weren't blowouts.
