...and I was Team Hi Tek in this one, and talked loads of trash on Teó both in general and in the lead-up to what I thought was the wrong end of a mismatch here for him. So no bias on my end. I'm way more of a Loma fan, and consider him the greater p4p boxer even now.

But he lost. He lost clearly, fair & square, 8-4 on the nose - or maybe 9-3 if you shove with all your might in López's direction, or maybe 7-5 if you heave-ho for Loma. What you cannot do is push hard enough to get to a 10-2 López card, let alone that garbage 11-1 that Lederman had. What you also cannot do is push hard enough to get a draw, because there are not six rounds to give Lomachenko unless you're redistributing wealth that isn't rightfully his, rewarding him for his efforts (admirable though they may have been) with rounds that ought to be López's c-b-c, just because they weren't blowouts.

What is the reasoning behind your opinion that the 2nd and 6th aren't toss ups? I went back and watched both of them several times. I see nothing that Lopez lands that makes me want to favor him more than Loma. They're the epitome of toss ups.

I've no idea what you're trying to say here so I'll just reiterate my point again.

I scored the fight exactly how IB did. His post sums up my thoughts perfectly. There's a lot of threads now trying to argue the case for a Lomachenko draw when it wasn't particularly hard to score this fight. First 7 and 12 for Lopez. Everything else for Loma.

But that's an example of how IB is better at articulating his boxing thoughts, his post says the same thing, just much better.

Was still able to use explosive feet to get Loma before Loma got him.
