It was seven rounds. The problem is that when you have given 6 rounds in a row to a fighter you (everybody, I mean) have the impulse to give one round for free to the losing fighter. But round 7 was teo's too. It was 7-0, clear, imho ofc.

 

Tim Bradley’s eyebrows are one of the worst things in boxing.

Just rewatched it in 5x speed. Turns out Loma won every round.

 

Haney is stronger than Loma and can outbox Lopez more confidently. He won't be as fazed by Lopez power

Hmmm, I think Loma got too old simply put. He was on the wane against Campbell but can't mix it carrying this weight now, legs and cardio not there. It's only a 2-5% reduction but at the elite level, against the likes of Lopez, he doesn't have the pop to stop them or the tank to overwhelm them anymore.
He made all the right shapes but the body shots were bothering him badly and he just didn't do enough damage. Most he did was from the headbutt in the last round.
I thought the commentary was woeful, Lopez just looked too strong and determined and if Loma still had the tools to stop him, he would have, but he just don't anymore imo.
Good fight though, Loma get's wrecked in a rematch imo.

Why do people keep talking about Haney. Trust me Tank Davis v Lopez is THE fight to make now.
