If Pacquiao weighs in @ 143/144, he will rehydrate to 147/148 (Salido was 148). If Pacquiao weighs in @ 147, he will rise to 150-151. Given the speed element at play for both guys, Pacquiao will aim to come in lighter (147-148).

Pacquiao came in @ 144 and rehydrated to 148 against Margarito, who weighed in at 150 and shot up to 165. On top of 15 pounds, Pacquiao gave up height, reach, and size advantages to Margarito.

Lomachenko weighed in at 138 on fight night against Walters. If they fight at 147, Lomachenko would probably be 140-145 depending on how much reliance he wants to place on speed. Either way, Pacquiao will weigh more on the night, but Loma is younger, taller, and fresher. Loma is entering his prime while Manny is shot and in the twilight of his career.

This isn't Loma fighting a Terence Crawford who weighs in at 140 and balloons to 155.

I wouldn't mind seeing it though I'd give first dibs to TC....seems like a better match up in terms of passing the torch.

High likelihood of the fight being a stinker. TC will wait and wait and wait to counter. With Lomachenko, the speed and angles and punch variety on display will be INSANE. And both guys will be attacking often.

TC is plenty capable of putting on a show especially when he gets tagged. Loma would certainly display an impressive package of boxing no doubt about it. I'm not sure why folks are labeling TC as "boring" these days now that he's shown he's also a cerebral fighter. We have some short memories man, remember his fight against the Gamboa?

I would rather it be Salido for Loma next, tbh. Though the Pac fight would give Loma a chance to headline a PPV, if he won people would say that he beat a Pacman that was past it (which would be true). People will say the same about Salido if Loma puts a beating on him in the rematch, but at least he will have avenged that loss like great fighters do. The PPV will come in due time for Loma. He's got the skills that pay the bills and his style is highly entertaining.

If Pac and Loma fight they should do a catchweight of around 137 or 138 pounds.

That's insane. I know Pacquiao has said that he could make 135 (I have no doubt that he really thinks he can, but in reality, I think he would be terribly drained). 140 or 147.

Pac at Lightweight is a killer. Far more dangerous than the Manny that Floyd fought.
Roach is blocking the fight at 135. This wont happen.

No torch is getting passed in a Loma vs Crawford fight. Crawford too big and too hard for Loma. As a matter of fact, I don't think he's ready for Pac. He has never felt that kind of power.

Pacquiao is old. And he's shot. No KOs in almost 7 years. Loma's good to go for this fight.

Pac loses to Crawford....against Lomo he's got a good chance to win.

Yea, if Pac was fighting at 135 the past 7 years he would have more KOs.

Crawford is too boring. Both in ring style and personality to become a big star. Loma is dazzling in the ring. And commands eyeballs.

Loma has already said it would take a year to acclimate his body to 140. He isn't going to just blow up and come in chubby like the inexperienced Mcgregor.
