Vasyl Lomachenko is going to be shot, post shoulder injury

    If not shot, then he's going to be dramatically past his best. I fear his best days are going to be behind him, after he returns to the ring post-injury.

    It seems like the jaw-dropping, mesmerizing and inimitable moves that Lomachenko has shared with us over the years, are going to be a far distant memory now.

    I'm not even fully confident he beats his next opponent Pedraza. I sense an upset (if it even is one at this point). And can't see him beating many, if any top level opposition anymore.

    People underestimate the effects of injuries. Especially to a dynamic and an athletic boxer like Lomachenko. It's going to have a huge affect on his career. Just watch and see to find out!

    Oh, come on, you're exaggerating!
    But there is some truth in it as well. Just physical aspects of inactivity plus Loma himself admitted that it was hard for him mentally to get back to his (crazy) training regime. I wouldn't be suprised if this fight goes all the distance.

    Look at his career as a whole. Think about how precise his career has been planned. If Loma is not ready, I highly doubt he fights. His feet are just as important as his hands are when it comes to his style. He's not a huge puncher. So as long as he can punch without any real issues, he should be OK. Ward came back without issue, Surely Loma can too.

    Dr. Neal ElAttrache (one of the worst names ever), superstar surgeon to superstars (Kobe, Brady, etc), did the surgery on Loma. He also did Pacquiao's.
