    Touché

Truth be told my infatuation with boxing is directly stemmed from constant fear and preparation for the inevitable. I once never understood the confidence that was inherently passed on to those that didn’t match my particular mold. It took me several years of interaction, self education, realization and admittance of vacat esteem to accept obstacles that I would have to endure to prove my equality. The equality was earned through breaking each and every misconception and generalization seemingly imposed upon me simply because of how society positioned me....it was my birth rite....the antithesis of birth rites provided to those born in the same soil as me.

I try not to dwell on the generational systematic disenfranchisement that my family and many others have navigated through centuries of repetitious physical, physiological, emotional and spiritual abuse. One of the ways in which I discovered a structured recourse for my frustrations was through violence, rebellion and disconformity. I eventually grew out of that.

I appreciate the words you shared more than you’ll ever know, the state of this country has turned a tide that I can’t confidently say will swing in the right direction anytime soon. At least we have boxing to represent and release our primal urges and throw away our politically correct boundaries for a moment or two.

    Cheers brother.

He had the same shoulder surgery as Paq, it only required an Arumoscraphy (wink) and he was 100% again for his next fight. I wouldn't worry about that.

The issues with Chenko are motivation after 20 years as Minemax said, lack of power and an amateur style that requires way to much energy over 12 rounds for a guy over 30.

I once said that he would end his career 21-4. I think that's about right.

Good point regarding resumes. Fot cryin out loud, what is more important than a fighters' name and his resume? And when it comes to Loma, things are a changing. I could have never envisioned a situation that a fighter with just a dozen prizefights is considered number one. Dont get me wrong, Loma is as good as they get, but you gotta give the man a little time
