Those are the top 7 Boxing Champions when it comes to opposition ratio. They faced & beat opponents with the highest winning ratio.

Vasyl Lomachenko stands alone when it comes to opposition ratio, the type of names on the list gives you an idea of what defeating high opposition ratio means.

    18.0 Vasyl Lomachenko
    08.3 Kostya Tszyu
    07.9 Andre Ward
    06.9 Guillermo Rigondeaux
    06.6 Floyd Mayweather
    06.4 Felix Trinidad
    06.0 Myung Wuu Yuh

I remember you did this years ago by divisions. Great work as always.

It's interesting that not only did Tszyu fight such a high level of comp, but he also traveled to fight in many fighters' home countries and would fight anywhere.

You can Add Inoue as #8, at 5.9

His next fight will make him pass the 6.0 mark

At that time Floyd was #1 although he had a slightly lower number, this kind of rating favors Champions who constantly take on opponents with impressive records, Vasyl will probably remain the GOAT in this category.

Tszyu is an underrated ATG, but those numbers don't lie. Very hard to beat his #2 spot, Inoue might be able to do it if he beats more undefeated opponents

Inoue numbers change for next fight (if he wins)

Beating his next opponent can put him at 6.3 (highest possible rating for next fight, based on his mandatory list), moving him to #7 spot

Lomachenko is a really good fighter. I hope he will not get cheated by the judges, stay away from Bob Bennett and Tony Weeks, but I think the fight will be in MSG, NY. Still, Lomachenko needs to knock him out!!!

Rigo is not your standard melanin-rich boxer...Rigo is the most hated Haitian (more than Adonis) or Cuban (more than Ortiz) in boxing today...He is hated by Promoters, Media, Venue owners, Ring Girls & Photographers, so all Rigo has, is just a small minority of purist boxing fans who like his style...

Rigo only chance to win is by KO (unlikely, but possible if Loma allows exchanges), it will shake the boxing world & he will find himself fighting Terrance Crawford next

Vasyl is better off keeping it a boxing match & cruising to a 100% certain decision win.

    Tszyu's opponent's win/loss ratio

    1064-130 loses

    Number of world champions fought

    15 (13-2)

    Number of world title fights

    18

Number of times fought on the road

15 out of 33 fights, including unifying twice in his opponent's country and winning his first world title in his opponent's country too. So he won all his world titles in his opponent's country and defended his titles many times on the road and in his opponent's country.

Outside of Russell Jr, Walters, Salido and Sosa, Lomachenko fought bums with padded records. What is your point? It doesn't mean a damn thing if a guy is 50-1 if he's fought all cans.

There is a strong positive correlation between the high opposition ratio & ATG status...it can't be a coincidence...Otherwise the list will include average boxers?

The few boxers that exceed the 6.0 mark, all happen to be Elite level champions, so its a useful ATG diagnostic marker. If some boxing Champion scores very low in this category, it means they started their career slower as a prospect (Good example is Kell Brook)

Calculate all wins & all losses of the boxer opponents (that he beaten)

All wins/all losses = Winning Ratio

Alternatively you can include opponents he didn't beat (Draws & losses), this will changes the value a bit

    what a ridiculous post
in a sport where fighters and promoters can milk their records, isn't it more important to judge a fighter's career based on who they fought and when?
