I hope donaire lasts but im not expecting him to. Young was hitting him flush multiple times and with the accuracy and power of inoue that won't be good for donaire. Donaire doesn't really strike me as the crafty type.
Good mention on Pac. His longevity as a swarmer, especially with his level of competition, speaks for itself. That can't happen without great D.
At the same time, I highly doubt that Donaire was very worried about Young at all, so he probably wasn't boxing with much caution.
Inoue isn't walking guys down and powering through them, though. He's boxes brilliantly and sets up his shots and then executes with precision. Inoue has elite boxing skills. Hands down.
He's not swarming them with a volume attack, but as soon as he lands he's launching punches from all different varieties and he's hitting really hard. They fold.
Pac has ultra underrated defense. He shut out Rios, Vargas, Matthysse, Mosley, Algieri, Diaz, Broner, and Oscar without so much as a scratch. Can't do that with a high level offense and no defense to match. And for how often Pac is off balance, dude rarely gets knocked down.
Lomachenko is easily the most skilled, Usyk seems like a lesser copy of him but still very good. Crawford is extremely skilled and maybe takes 3rd but a lot of that is due to his height, speed and power which amplifies his “skills” and maybe makes him seem more skilful than he actually is. Don’t think there’s anyone who can test him at this point though, he outboxes Spence until I see more from Spence.
