    I don't know how I feel about this. Mixed feelings.

    On one hand, I've missed seeing the most skilled fighter in the sport (and it's not even close) and one if not the most technically perfect boxers ever and it sickens me he didn't turn pro much earlier and we didn't get to see so much more of him in his prime years and against fighters his own size and come even close to fulfilling his true potential and becoming at least a six-weight champion which he would've 100% done with ease if not more depending on the age he turned pro at, sickens me almost as much as him getting robbed vs Haney and Salido

    And on the other, how much will he have left at 38 with a style like his and we know he won't be looking for easy touches and he's still likely going to be campaigning in a weight class he's tiny for vs much bigger fighters but at 38-39 or more y/o? He was already well past his prime when he retired and watching an even more declined version is going to feel so bitter sweet

    As much as I love Usyk, there's no fighter I enjoy watching more than prime Loma, including the amateur/WSB version, because he was poetry in motion

    Agree totally with all that.. wonder what his motives are? Because he seems very at peace now and is deeply religious too .. very strange that almost exactly two years to the day he has announced a comeback. Was it calculated & hes stayed in shape or was it a recent decision.. hope its not just for money .. i doubt that though.. wonder what his aim is.. it's good that he broke free from Arum & can manage his last hurrah himself but at this age i hope he doesn't get ahead of himself & think he can just jump back in with all these doped up weight grifters .. he tried that with Haney , no way they'd allow an old fella to spoil their cash cows.. Hope he makes the right choices & can snatch another belt but I'm not convinced.

    I actually had no idea there was any issues re. Arum and his Top Rank contract

    I would assume he's financially set for life albeit he should've earned a lot more money than he did and would've had the Saudis been involved in the sport like they have been the last few years

    Campaigning at 135 was a dumb decision because, as you say, it was a division full of massive weight bully/grifters and he was giving away much more size than everyone else in the P4P top 10 was or is sans Usyk and I don't think he's going to be near as effective as he was at 38-39 y/o when well past his prime

    What would be big fights? Rematches with Lopez and Haney, yes, but 147 would be tricky, to say the least. Garcia would also be at 147.

    Stevenson would be a great fight, but Loma would be the underdog, certainly at his age. Tank would probably be the best choice, if he can get him.

    Meh, his time is over. He'll have one or two fights and be retired again by the end of next year.

    Although, if he's close to the form he was on for Kambosos, he'd thrash Ryan Garcia.

    Anyone who actually thought Haney won either doesn't understand boxing or is just lying to themselves.

    He's not finished at all or we'll past his prime. He beat Haney convincingly. Beat lambosos with ease. He's great.

    Look, if Loma was that great, he would beat Haney like 11 - 1 or something like that.

    At boxrec, 970 fans scored the fight 7-5 for Loma, and many rounds close. It means Loma barely edged it according to the fans, and it's debatable.

    He won the fight close or not. Loma was how old when he beat him? 35? He's a gun. A gun that won.
