Ya that's BS too.. i recently watched that one again & Ortiz won 3/4 rounds.. i suspect his fight night weight was over
150lbs too.

 

Loma's a humble man. You call his name when he's walking off he'll turn around and greet you, have a photo etc. That's a true champion.

Loma was 35 against a prime champion with a ludicrous size advantage and still won 9-3 on my card and most had him winning by scores of 8-4 or 7-5 to deny this was an injustice is just ridiculous. One of the most disgusting robberies of the decade.

 

Loma capturing all 4 belts at that age is incredible. He was robbed what was rightfully his.

I've seen first hand professionals get better after years of no sparring. Some can do it. Lomas a freak you won't notice a thing wrong with him. If anything he could come back better.

 

As long as he fights him this year, I firmly believe he absolutely outclasses Navarrete.

Navarettes push punches won't work on Loma. Loma would outclass him. The king of chess.

 

to play devils advocate, I don’t know if it was him or his management team, but whoever allowed him to give up boxing to go play photo op in the Ukrainian Russian war instead of fighting Kambosos for all four belts really deserves some serious criticism. He could’ve won all four belts off him and then served his country, but he chose to let Kambosos fight Haney and lose twice and then had to fight Haney himself. Dumbest decision I’ve ever seen in a recent memory.

 

Agreed. I never knew he had that opportunity until recently. What a bone headed move.
