The ridiculousness of seeing Loma being overrated is very weird to read now, lol.

Hamed retired to avoid Floyd, one of the biggest ducks of my lifetime.

Floyd would UD this man rather easy simply because of his height and reach honestly....that's not a knock on Loma either...Floyd is extremely smart with using distance which suits him and nullifies his opponents work because they simply are trying to find a way to close distance while not getting peppered coming in....we seen how that plays out in the Pac fight....

Well, I wouldn't endorse this statement. Hamed's unspoken retirement came about because his 'Fresh Prince' rebranding tanked and because he no longer had any real desire to fight after the Barrera-induced culmination of his slow unravelling.

Mayweather wanted the Hamed fight because the Prince was the big draw around his weight back then. As far as any big names would've been concerned, Floyd was a 'who needs him?' fighter at the time he called Naz out, just a matter of months before Naz fought Barrera. Big risk, no obvious big reward. Hamed understandably had his eyes on PPV clashes with popular guys like Marco and Erik.

Again stop with the strawman it gets old. I'm not even a Loma fan. I'm just recognizing that the guy is showing tremendous skill and he could possibly beat Mayweather.

He should show tremendous skill against Mikey Garcia who he keeps claiming he wants to fight for years now. He should've showed tremendous skill by quickly rematching against Salido.

I'm not impressed but untested skills (since you seem sensitive about Salido)

You're hear saying he has to fight Garcia to prove his skills. Garcia is a possibly great fighter in his prime. When did Floyd ever prove his skills against somebody that good at boxing? He never did. Seems hypocritical of you.

This revisionist history is appalling. Castillo is the best Lightweight since the turn of the century. And he was beaten twice by Floyd. That's just one.

This is getting disgusting lmao, I'm out.

I meant since he retired, like the best LW since the turn of the century. I know JCC, I rated him in my top 5 on here.

He always loses imaginary fights. Hell, Pacquiao was gonna kill him until he signed the fight then Manny was old and shot.
I wish Floyd would call ESB's bluff and ESPN's bluff and present Loma with a contract for fight at 147. The irony of people complaining about Loma being too small for that weight or being too green would be hilarious.
