Salido had him back against the ropes and unlike Loma PBF can fight against the ropes and goes there because he's damn good with his back to the ropes.:deal: BTW if it was that easy to fight off the ropes why can't Loma do it? When have you ever seen Loma throw 3 straight right hands and land all 3 like in 4:15 of this video that's skill. (I do realize that Loma is a southpaw) Go to any boxing gym in the world and any trainer or coach or pro in there will tell you the level of difficulty of this is 10 out of 10. It's one of the most amazing things I've ever seen a boxer do in the ring.

Let's be honest, Loma would have to turn bull against Floyd. He would not be able to jab with him on the outside, and Floyd at 130 WAS faster with single shot counters on the trigger. I do think Loma's more versatile than Floyd and may be able to pressure Floyd and open him up, especially because Floyd's ring smarts then weren't as sharpened as they'd become. But we've never seen Loma handle a longer, faster outside boxer, and we can't assume he'd handle the best at it. I can picture Floyd just making the most of his advantages, jabbing and moving, tossing in odd, well-times counter rights, and running away with a 'boring' decision.

Great a video of a 38 year old past prime PBF whose legs were basically gone still dishing out a boxing lesson to another fellow ATG and he didn't have to get out of 1st gear to do it. Lets see what Loma looks like at 38 and moved up 5 weightclasses which would mean he would have to fight at 147 to achieve this. I highly doubt he'll be on top of the sport P4P #1 like PBF was at 38.

Exactly Loma would have to basically sell out to get in range and that's not really his style and with his paper thin skin he will take a lot of punishment and bust up. Not to mention PBF could crack at 130 so he would be deterred from just rushing in. Could very easily see him walking into a counter or get beaten to the punch trying to get in range and get dropped or KOed.

Not making a pick in the poll because as I said it depends what weight it's at and what their respective ages are. And because the more I think about it the more I think it might be the highest level boxing match ever!

I would be interested in hearing from any card carrying Flow-mow (or even just a neutral who doesn't dislike Floyd) who favours Lomachenko at 130?

Or is there any Floyd-hater or Loma cheerleader who can admit that Mayweather is a mountain too high for their boy?

As a betting man I would probably lean Floyd because of the physical advantages but Lomachenko is a special talent and might just have the skill set (footwork & feints) to pull off the victory.

Loma will need USADA and an IV to compete.

What I can say say is we don't know enough about Lomachenko yet but it will be instructive to see him against Mikey Garcia! Neither am I giving him a pass on Salido but he is building an excellent resume. Personally at 130 or 135 pounds Pretty Boy Floyd would ice Lomachenko.

After this weekends mega fight and it’s outcome it’s clear that Loma is on another planet in terms of accuracy, speed and power in comparison to any fighter to ever fight at 130lbs before. So my questions is as follows

After what round would FMJ have said “No mas” if the two ever met at 130lbs?

My guess 7th round he would fail to come out for the 8th with uncle Rodger going over to tell Papa Loma “it’s over, my boy has had enough”

Floyd would say "No mas" at the negotiations and he would raise important questions and topics like...
    • Why and how Loma can make money in the US and take it back to Ukraine while Floyd feeds American citizens every day
    • Loma has Salido problems
    • Where was Loma at in 96? 98?

I respectfully disagree Serge but you’re obviously entitled to your opinion. I’m a bit perplexed by the raging confidence in some of the pro Loma predictions but I’ve boiled it down to mostly the current allure surrounding Loma now...good for him he’s an awesome fighter and should prove to be one of the greats once his career fully subsides

I know you enjoy good music check out this street performer from Chicago doing a Fleetwood Mac song rendition
